Due to the general nature of what I write here, it is mostly ‘pseudo-intellectualism’: ‘wisdom’ about life that truly has no reliable grounding for the claims being made, aside from my ever so unreliable life experience.
I don’t expect to be taken seriously. In fact, I sure hope any reader that happens across this blog takes all my posts with a pinch of salt.
I treat writing as such: it is impossible to capture the entirety of any given moment, thing, concept or person within any piece of writing. Rather, the author naturally edits these things during the process of writing; the author chooses one word over the other, one mode of grammar and diction over the other, one form of organizational structuring to another.
What results is the capturing of one facet of the highly multi-faceted reality that is.
In the same sense, each piece of writing I have produced is one facet of my multi-faceted life experience. You, as the reader, should remember that that the dominant emotion or thought within that piece was merely dominant at the time of writing, and not an omni-present concept in my psyche.
